I know it's near the end of the month when this is being posted, yet I've been busy *eh.he*

March 2020 Update

I was going to do one last month, but a few thing happen which lead me missing it all together.
Life:
So last month me and
finally, finally MOVED IN!
With that means, I had to pack up everything from my previous place and move it to our new home. I didn't get my computer back up and running until a week and a half ago.
Not much else has changed.
Art:
I've just finished my Zahaki for this year, really wanted it out before some tall green idiot got there's done (jk)
Next thing on my plate is the Easter Image for this year, seeing I have missed Valentines this year I want to make sure I get this done!
Monthly Sketches:
I'll be making another Blog post shortly about sketches for this month.
Guardians of Gevra-Nui Comic:
The next few updates for this will probable be Character drawings and random "Non-Canon" panels just to get people familiar with them.
Also gives me a reason to flesh them out a bit more before they appear in the series.(They've been rolling around in my head since 2011, I gotta get them out)
With all that, I think I've said all i wanted to say... Even if no one see's this. It's just nice to write it down so I at least keep sane during these times.

Happy New Year everyone!
I hope everyone had a good year, and is ready for whatever 2020 throws their way. I figured I'll make this Journal on things that are happening this year/and or what I hope to have done this year XD
Which we're both excited for, starting the next chapter of our life together as two idiots who make each other laugh. That's the biggest thing going on with me really, the only other thing is that Kackrix/Tradan and I are looking for our first place together. Both of us are hoping to move in with this month or the next if everything works out.
Art: Yes ART! That thing I do twice a year.
Looking back at last year, I posted a total of 12 Drawings (and 1 Comic)... That's 1 Drawing per month, not sure about you guys, but that's pretty sad. This year I truly want to get better with my art and posting more, be that as doodles, complete works, sketches, scraps, pin-ups, stupid shit Akaku and I do/say. I might even start drawing other things outside the Bionicle stuff I do now (Not saying I don't do that, but my main focus has always been Bionicle and my OC's that live within that world)
Guardians of Gevra-Nui Comic: Just like me, it's not dead.
Last year, I honestly wanted to get the first prologue done and dusted moving onto the first chapter. As of right now I've only done 4 pages. I do believe I've mentioned this a few months back, but my Laptop of... Uhh 7 years had complete died on me resulting in me loosing a whole bunch of files and unfinished drawings, some of with being half completed pages of GoGN. I'm 100% going to continue these and get them out to those who want to read them, yet a few things will change with it.
How I make them... It takes to long, and that's just me always wanting everything to look right. For me to get these out, and quicker than I do now I need to get over that. Will the quality go down? I don't think so. Most of this comes down to my colouring methods, have the base colour and then adding all the different lights and shadows. My plan for this is to do something similar to what I did on my Zahaki '19 drawing, having the shadows and lights being more of a flat colour than the faded effect I do with my normal drawings.
Monthly Sketches: Just give me a reason to draw!
Back in... October?, could have been September; I had this idea of having monthly sketches where people would suggest something and I'd would as the title says do a little sketch. It wouldn't be anything to grand and it wouldn't even be neat. BUT, it would get me back into a habbit of drawing and not only that; probably get me to draw something I wouldn't. I'm not sure how I'll do this as yet, but keep an eye out.
Stream: Want to see why it takes me so long to draw?
Now this has been something I have been playing around with early last year. I had twice before (Being like 3 years ago) streamed me drawing and to my surprise I ended up with a few people watching. I've noticed I seem to get more art done when my partner is in the room with me watching or just chatting to me while I draw. So why couldn't I do the same with more people? This would be something I'd do over on Twitch as I already have an account on that platform and have streamed games there before. I'm still playing with it doing test and what not, so don't expect anything this month or the next.
Art Trades: You like Art? I like art, lets trade!
This and the next topic are more of me just talking about them and my thoughts on them.
I've done this twice before and enjoyed these, and I'm willing to do more with people if that's something they are interested with. These kind of things I'd probably be open with anyone on this platform (Within reason... of course)
Requests: Do I do request?
I've done 2 of these back in 2018 and that was mostly to get me back into drawing. They where fun to do as both had me drawing something I usually don't. Now does that mean I'll be taking more request in 2020? Well that depends. Are you a long time follower? Yes sure I'll be open to do a request (Not an automatic 'yes', but I'll look into it) Are you someone who saw I'll do request and asks for one? No, you'll get a nice piece of art I spent time and energy on and what did I get in the end? Sure someone loving the work I did and showing does mean a lot to me, but I'd rather do it for someone who in facts follows me to see all my new drawings. NOW what do I mean by 'long time follower'? It means there person can't just follow me and then request something. That's just not on.
So that's about everything I wanted to say about things to come in this year, some of what I covered here probably doesn't interest anyone but that's okay. I just felt like I should just talk about it now and then quote back to it later if needed.
I don't say this often but thanks to you guys who do follow me and enjoy my art!
